Sport Team Talk

A note from Mrs Searle...

I would like to say a big thank you to all parents, who have been involved in supporting the football festivals this half term. Without your help and support in transporting your children to the events, and encouraging them to take part, it would be more difficult to get so many of our children involved in these exciting events -  I look forward to our next set of events!

Thank you!

All Saints Ambassadors

2015 - 2016

Y6 -

Y5 -

Y4 -

Y3 -

Our new sports ambassadors represent each 'House Team', that we

have traditionally had on Sports Day. Together we are hoping to organise

more sports events, for our teams to take part in through the year. The ambassadors

will also help lead games and activities at lunchtime.

Aston Family Football October 2015

Thank you and well done to all the boys who participated in the football tournaments for the U11 team.

The Y6 teams played amazingly well on Monday 12th October at Aston Academy. There were quite a few goals scored, and sportsmanship that was second to none! The boys were a credit to our school.

Their great teamwork paid off as they won the tournament and were entered into the Rotherham sports partnership festival!

The new Aston C of E Sports Ambassadors will be announced soon...

School Sport Partnership Football

After the Aston family festival, the C of E boys faced some tough competition at the Rotherham schools tournament on the 21st October. Once again they played well, supported each other and almost ran their socks off, playing three matches in a row!

They played five matches in total, and finished the competition in third place!!!

Aston C of E Football Tournament

Aston All Saints entered two mixed teams, on the 8th October, in the football tournament held on our school field.                               It was great to see the girls and boys work together so well - they even came head-to-head when they had to play each other!!            The event was enjoyed by all - with thanks to Mr Dungworth for organising it.
